Teen Supper Club - Handheld Foods

Thursday, May 235:00—6:30 PMLocated in the Program Room

Knowing how to cook is one of the best basic skills a teen can learn that will last them a lifetime. Every other Thursday the teens try their hand at cooking something new, learning cooking terms and often playing food trivia. When the food is all done they sit down to eat what they prepared. Please notify us if your teen has a food allergy and anyone with long hair should come with a hair tie.

This week the teens will be making pasties and pies. Pretty much every culture has some type of handheld meal wrapped in pastry which would have been easy to take to the fields to work. Now they make a great option for picnics and school lunches.

Registration for each event is separate so don't worry if you can't make it to this one!

Our programs are supported by the Friends of the Somers Library through our patrons' generous contributions.
