I have been certified to teach this class since 1980. For many years I was the Assistant Superintendent of a Parks and Recreation Department for the Town of Somers, and for several years I was a substitute teacher in the Rombout Middle School in the City of Beacon. Over the years I have taught this class in numerous libraries and recreation departments as well as to many Girl Scout Troops. I am married, the mother of a grown adult married daughter and a grandmother of a 5-year-old.

Our programs are supported by the Friends of the Somers Library through our patrons' generous contributions.
